AG office finds 34 KKN cases in Pertamina,
House wants legal actions against them

Attorney General Marzuki Darusman reported to the House of Representatives' Commission VIII on Thursday that that his office found indications of corruption, collusion and nepotism practicies, or KKN, in 34 out of 159 projects in Pertamina his office was investigating.
Out of the 34 projects, 9 projects had reached the pre-expose stage at the Attorney General's Office with positive indications of KKN, 2 projects had been investigated but not yet entered the pre-expose stage, 2 other projects were under investigation, and 21 projects were also still under investigation, but no significant KKN indications had been found in the 21 projects.
The commission gave the Attorney General's Office three months to complete investigations against all the 159 projects in Pertamina.
Meanwhile, legislator Priyo Budi Santoso of the Golkar faction, demanded Marzuki to reveal the names behind the 34 projects with indications of KKN.
However, Marzuki refused to announce names behind the 34 projects, but he promised to present the written list of names behind those projects to the commission members in one week. (*)
