China PM visit to discuss possibility of LNG supply to Fujian

The planned visit of Chinese Prime Minister Zhu Rong Zi on November will among other things to discuss the possibility of Indonesia supplying liquefied natural gas to China?s Fujian Province, according to Pertamina president Baihaki Hakim.

?It?s an option ? After (supplying LNG) to Qhuandong (province) Fujian may be next,? Baihaki told Petromindo.com over the weekend.

He said that the LNG supply to Fujian may come from the Tangguh LNG facility in Irian Jaya province. He declined to provide details.

Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy Purnomo Yusgiantoro said previously that Zhu Rong Zi was planning to visit Indonesia on Nov. 8. (Godang)
