Indonesia-focused Canadian junior oil, gas firm Criterium Energy Ltd. announced the appointment of Ben Arnott to its Board of Directors and released details for its upcoming Annual General Meeting.

The company said Arnott will join the board as a non independent director, subject to approval from the TSX Venture Exchange. He will also serve as a strategic advisor, working with management on financing strategies and potential merger and acquisition opportunities.

Arnott brings more than 25 years of experience in energy finance across the Asia Pacific region. He has arranged over $50 billion in credit financings and previously served as Head of Energy for Southeast Asia and Australia at Société Générale, the company said.
