Delong Holding to set up carbon steel plant

China?s Delong Holding Limited is planning to develop a carbon steel plant in Morowali, Central Sulawesi Province, according to Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto.
He said on Tuesday at the Energy and Mining Expo 2017 that the company is in the process of getting the required permit from the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).
Airlangga said that investment for the planned carbon steel plant is estimated at US$900 million, and could expand to $1.3 billion if the company also builds a power plant.
