EAS enters into strategic advisor agreement with Fadel

East Asia Minerals Corporation (EAS) announced that is has entered into an agreement with Fadel Muhammad, former minister of sea fishery and marine affairs, to act as strategic advisor to the company.
Fadel, who is also former Gorontalo governor will provide assistance to EAS with respect to both its existing concessions in Miwah, Aceh Province and Sangihe, North Sulawesi, as well as any concessions it may acquire in the future.
Edward Rochette, Chief Executive Officer with East Asia Minerals commented: "In his advisory role Fadel will provide invaluable assistance to enable the projects in Indonesia to move forward in a timely and sustainable manner. We are very pleased to have Fadel advising the Company and look forward to working with him in this new role."
Fadel is the owner of the GEMA Group of companies which has interests in manufacturing, fabrication, oilfield services and publishing. He studied at the Engineering Science & Industrial Technology Faculty of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and obtained his PhD with cum-laude in Public Administration from University of Gadjah Mada.
The company said that Fadel may be granted stock options of the company, in future, subject to receipt of board and regulatory approvals, including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
