Energi Mega Persada independent commissioner resigns

Upstream oil, gas firm PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (EMP) (IDX: ENRG) announced that its independent commissioner, Gita Rusmida Sjahrir, has submitted her resignation.
The company said it received the resignation letter on April 30, according to a disclosure to the Financial Services Authority.
Energi Mega Persada stated that the resignation will be processed in accordance with prevailing regulations, with a decision to be taken through a general meeting of shareholders.

The company did not disclose the reason for the resignation.
Gita Rusmida Sjahrir is a businesswoman and investor who has held roles in corporate and venture capital sectors.
She holds a degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and comes from a prominent Indonesian family, as the daughter of economist Sjahrir and the niece of former Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.
