UK-headquartered firm Gorilla Technology Group Inc. said it has signed a strategic agreement with NeutraDC to secure an initial 5.5 megawatts of AI data center capacity in Batam, with capacity expected to expand to 18 megawatts by November 2026.

The company said the capacity will support deployment of AI compute infrastructure and enterprise workloads across Asia as demand for AI infrastructure and power capacity continues to increase globally.

Gorilla said fully utilized deployments associated with the capacity could generate more than US$2 billion in revenue over a five year period based on current AI compute market pricing.

The agreement forms part of Gorilla’s broader strategy to aggregate between 150 megawatts and 200 megawatts of regional AI infrastructure capacity over the next year.

Under the agreement, Gorilla will deploy GPU infrastructure at NeutraDC facilities to support enterprise, government, and large scale AI applications across the region. Additional capacity is expected to be delivered in phases as infrastructure readiness progresses.

Gorilla Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jay Chandan said early access to deployable power and data center capacity is becoming increasingly important as AI infrastructure demand accelerates.

NeutraDC Chief Executive Officer Indrama Yusuf Muda Purba said the partnership supports the development of AI infrastructure capacity in the region.

NeutraDC said its Batam facility is positioned within Southeast Asia’s digital corridor and connected to multiple subsea cable systems linking Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. The facility is designed for high density AI workloads and includes liquid cooling technology and energy efficient infrastructure.
