Humpuss Maritim unit takes delivery of two self-propelled hopper barges

Shipping firm PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (IDX: HUMI) said its subsidiary has taken delivery of two self-propelled hopper barges to support operational expansion and business development.
The company said subsidiary PT Humpuss Transportasi Curah received the vessels, named Semar Tiga Puluh Delapan and Semar Tiga Puluh Sembilan, from shipbuilder PT Citra Bahari Shipyard on May 18.
The two vessels were constructed under separate shipbuilding agreements signed on Aug. 14, 2025, for hull numbers CBS-035 and CBS-036.

Humpuss Maritime said the total acquisition value for the two self-propelled hopper barges reached 38.3 billion rupiah (US$2.3 million), funded through bank financing and internal cash resources.
The company said PT Citra Bahari Shipyard, which built the vessels, is not affiliated with Humpuss Maritime and is domiciled in Central Java.
Humpuss Maritime said the vessel acquisitions are intended to strengthen operational capacity and support the future business growth of its subsidiary.
