Indonesia Targets Energy Carbon Market Rules Within Two Months

Indonesia aims to complete regulations governing carbon trading in the energy sector within the next one to two months, as the government accelerates implementation of its new carbon pricing framework under Presidential Regulation No. 110/2025 on Carbon Pricing.
The target was announced by Zulkifli Hasan, Chairman of the National Carbon Pricing Committee (Komrah) and Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, who said technical ministries had been instructed to finalize sector-specific regulations without delay.
