MEMR extends registered lubricant number amid Covid-19

Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) said it has decided to extend the validity period of registered lubricant numbers (NPT) which will expire within the pandemic period and those that will expire one-and-half months after the coronavirus or Covid-19 pandemic ends.
Director for Technique and Environment at the MEMR, Adhi Wibowo, said in Jakarta on Wednesday (22/04) the companies whose NPT will expire are required to submit their request for an extension.
In addition, the examination of new lubricant products will not be served until the office of Lemigas is reopened.

"The NPT holder business entity remains responsible for guaranteeing the standards and quality (specifications) of lubricants that are marketed domestically as well as assures the availability of supplies during the emergency pandemic period due to Covid-19 disease in Indonesia," said Adhi.
