Minister sets reference price for 20 mineral products

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan has issued Ministerial Decree No 3612 K/32/MEM/2017, setting the so-called mineral reference price (or also known as HMA) of 20 metal mineral products for the period of October 2017.

Ministry Spokesman Dadan Kusdiana said in a statement on Tuesday that the HMA is set by the minister every month based on indices of the London Metal Exchange, London Bullion Market Association, Asian Metal, and the Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (ICDX).

He added that the HMA is one of the variables in determining the mineral benchmark price (or HPM).

Following is the HPM of 20 metal mineral products for the period of October 2017
1. Nickel UU$ 11,582.38/dmt
2. Cobalt US$ 60,780.95/dmt
3. Lead US$ 2,331.40/dmt
4. Zinc US$ 3,107.36/dmt
5. Aluminum US$ 2,086.95/dmt
6. Copper US$ 6,668.95/dmt
7. Gold as associated minerals US$ 1,316.71/dmt
8. Silver as associated minerals US$ 17.52/dmt
9. Tin ingot pb 300 in accordance with tin ingot price published by ICDX at trading day
10. Tin ingot pb 200 in accordance with tin ingot price published by ICDX at trading day
11. Tin ingot pb 100 in accordance with tin ingot price published by ICDX at trading day
12. Tin ingot pb 050 in accordance with tin ingot price published by ICDX at trading day
13. Tin ingot 4 nine in accordance with tin ingot price published by ICDX at trading day
14 Gold metal in accordance with price on London bullion Market Association (LBMA) at trading day
15. Silver metal follows price on London bullion Market Association (LBMA) at trading day
16. Manganese US$ 4.10/dmt
17. Iron ores laterite/hematite/magnetite US$ 1.00/dmt
18. Chrome ore US$ 0.22/dmt
19. Ilmenite concentrate US$ 4.21/dmt
20. Titanium concentrates US$ 10.26/dmt.
