Pertamina finds oil and gas in West and East Java

State oil and gas company Pertamina announced on thursday the discovery of two potential oil and gas wells in Indramayu , West Java and Blora, East Java during exploration activities.
The company said in a statement the melandong I well in Indramayu flows 1,764.63 barrels of oil per day (bpd) and 13.7million cubic feet of gas per day (mmcfd)
The KTB I well in Blora flows 8.4 mmcfd of gas abd 7.2 bpd of oil.
Drilling at the Melandong I well satrted on March 5, 2000 and reach the depth of 2,940 m on May 24, 2000. Three of the seven layer tests at the well produced oil and gas.
Drilling at the KTB I well started on Dec 2, 1999 and reach the depth of 3,300 m on May 20, 2000. Two of the three layer tests at the well produced oil and gas (*)
