Pertamina Refinery Unit III plans flat fuel oil output

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina’s Refinery Unit III in Plaju, South Sumatra Province, plans a relatively flat fuel oil output of 36.23 million barrels.
Pertamina said in a statement that last year, the Refinery Unit III produced 36.3 million barrels of fuel oil products, up from 35.2 million barrels in the previous year.
The company said that the higher production was mainly attributed to the utilization of waste oil, upgrading it into valuable prime quality mogas product.
The company said that that the refinery’s petrochemical unit also delivered positive operating performance with plastic ore output of 45,200 tons last year, 2 percent higher than target.
