PIS to cooperate with PGNE for LNG transport in W. Papua

Shipping company PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) signed on Friday a MOU with PT Pedoma Global Neo Energy (PGNE) for cooperation in LNG transport in West Papua Province.

PIS, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, said that the MOU was signed by PIS President Director Subagjo Hari Moeljanto and PGNE President Director Bambang Heriawan Soesanto. PGNE is owned by the West Papua provincial administration.

Under the planned cooperation PIS will among others provide the required LNG vessels to allow PGNS run its LNG transport for power plants in the region.
