PLN, Surveyor Indonesia jointly launch a special App for Customs

State-owned utility company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) has formed a synergy with PT Surveyor Indonesia by jointly launching a special application for Customs-related activities, called e-PLN Kepabeanan on Tuesday (21/07).

The launching of the application was carried out by PLN Mega Project Director, Ikhsan Asaad, and Commercial Director 2 of PT Surveyor Indonesia, Darwin Abas through via Zoom video conference. The application aims to support customs-related activities within the PLN group.

On the occasion, Ikhsan said that the launching of the 'e-PLN Kepabeanan' application is part of PLN's transformation to continue to innovate by digitizing each business process so that it can move more agile and operating more efficiently, which is one of the main focuses in PLN transformation.

Ikhsan said the existence of the e-PLN Kepabeanan application will process the data and customs administration documents across PLN Units throughout Indonesia, more easily, more quickly, and integrated.

In this process, Directorate General of Customs and Excise will monitor and audit customs activities within PLN periodically every two years to ensure that the implementation of customs clearance management is done timely.

The application is accessible through www.e-plnkepabeanan.pln.co.id.

The application will become a source of data as well as a dashboard for all PLN customs-related activities, which will provide import status, export administration, and import duties payment.
