Ratu Prabu says president director Burhanuddin Bur Maras dies

Oil and gas services company PT Ratu Prabu Energi Tbk (IDX: ARTI) said its President Director Burhanuddin Bur Maras had died on Saturday, according to a disclosure filed with the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Monday.

The company did not disclose the cause of death or announce an immediate successor.

Burhanuddin had served as president director of the Jakarta-listed company, which operates in the oil and gas, gold mining and property development sectors.

Burhanuddin was a graduate of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in the United States. He also served as a member of Indonesia's House of Representatives from 2004 to 2009.

Outside Ratu Prabu Energi, he was founder and president director of PT Lekom Maras and president director of PT Bangadua Petroleum.

The company did not indicate whether Burhanuddin's passing would affect its operations or management succession plans.
