REGIONAL LNG: PETRONAS celebrates 100th LNG cargo from PFLNG DUA

PETRONAS has achieved a major milestone in its floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) operations with the successful delivery of its 100th LNG cargo from the PFLNG DUA facility.

PFLNG DUA, the world’s first deepwater FLNG facility, operates in waters over 1,300 meters deep, enabling PETRONAS to extract and liquefy natural gas from remote offshore fields that were previously inaccessible. Since its commissioning in 2021, PFLNG DUA has exported over 14.53 million cubic meters of LNG, equivalent to 6.15 million metric tons.
