ASX-listed Robust Resources Limited reported positive assay results from its exploration program at the company?s 77.5% owned Romang Island mineral licenses in eastern Indonesia.

Robust has recently received results from three diamond drill holes from the Batu Jagung prospect which lies within the Lakuwahi Caldera.

It said that one of these holes, LWD223, intersected a wide zone of near-surface silver mineralisation.

LWD223 was drilled 160 metres north, along strike from previously released drill hole LWD206 (57m @ 85 g/t Ag from 8m including 13.2m @ 262 g/t Ag from 13.8m).

The strong silver mineralisation in both these holes is associated with brecciated, altered andesite showing banded epithermal-style veining. These early results from Batu Jagung point to a silver-rich, near-surface zone of mineralisation with a potential strike length of over 1 kilometer.

Robust?s Managing Director Gary Lewis commented: ?These results from Batu Jagung confirm the continuing rich mineralisation within the Lakuwahi Caldera. Taken in the context of the recent discovery at Batu Perak that was reported late last month, these results give us further confidence in the potential for the Lakuwahi Caldera to give solid exploration results.

?These results also support our belief that our maiden JORC compliant mineral resource estimate of 1.18 MOz Au Equivalent and 1.47 billion pounds of Pb+Zn+Cu can be significantly expanded as we prove up new exploration prospects such as Batu Jagung and Batu Perak, and extend the known deposits at Batu Mas and Batu Hitam.
