Security tightened at Caltex

Antara reported that both the police and the company's security guards were on alert in guarding the company building and housing compound in Rumbai on Monday.
Police inspected every car and everyone entering the compound, creating a long queue of cars at the gate.
Hundreds of youths in some cities in Indonesia last month threatened to search for Americans and citizens of countries that support a military operation in Afghanistan, aiming at intimidating the foreigners into leaving the country.
Aside from burning the U.S. flag, the youths also threatened to attack U.S. facilities in Indonesia.
Caltex, which produces more than half of Indonesia's crude production is equally owned by US energy giants Chevron and Texaco. (*)
