With China out on national holiday and many still on leave in Singapore, little new was heard for 3,800 kc NAR. There were, however, reports of a small number of Chinese traders still trying to cover short positions, which helped support prices for early March loading cargoes.
Paper
Paper activity was limited by many participants still being on Lunar New Year holiday, although a deal for February was concluded at $39.60. This was up on the last February deal done 9 February at $39.00. Bids were reported at $39.40 for February and $38.50 for March, while April was offered at $39.00.
