Some Asian thermal market players were suggesting prices levels had stabilised. However, a fresh wave of import controls in China could bring pressure in the days ahead. For low-rank, a bid was reported at $33.00/t FOB, against an offer at $34.50/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for an April loading geared vessel.
Paper
M42 paper, listed on SGX, was bid for March at $33.95 and offered at $34.50. April was bid at $33.50 and offered at $34.25. Further out, May was bid at $33.20 and offered at $34.50. Markets for Q2-20 and Q3-20 were reported. Q2-20 was bid at $33.20 and offered at $34.50, while Q30-20 was bid at $32.30 and offered at $34.80.
