Six oil companies temporarily close Jakarta office as U.S. attack Afghanistan

Six oil companies have temporarily closed their Jakarta offices starting Monday to anticipate a possibility of threat by anti-American following the attack of Afghanistan by American troops, according to production sharing management Pertamina Effendi Situmorang.
The six companies were Lasmo Oil, Devon Energy, Unocal, ExxonMobil, Vico, and BP Indonesia.
Meanwhile president director of Pertamina Baihaki Hakim told reporter that none of the companies shut down their operations.
?So far, the situation in their operation areas is still normal,? Baihaki told reporters on the sidelines of Pertamina?s hearing with House of Representative. (Godang)
