Sumatra Copper names Graeme as CFO

ASX-listed gold company Sumatra Copper & Gold plc announces the board has appointed Graeme Smith as Joint Company Secretary and Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to replace Richard Edwards who resigned from the post.
The company also announced that Peter Nightingale has resigned as Non-Executive Director.
?Richard Edwards will remain as a consultant to the company until the end of September to ensure a smooth transition of his role,? the company said in the statement to the IDX, adding that Alison Barr, who is based in the United Kingdom , will remain as joint Company Secretary.
Graeme Smith is a finance professional with over 25 years? experience in accounting and company administration. He graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Economics and has since received a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Commerce Law. He is a Fellow of both the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators. He has held CFO and Company Secretary roles with a number of Australian and overseas mining companies and is part of DWCorporate Limited (?DWCorporate?).
