Sumber Energi buys 30% stake in Mitratama

IDX-listed PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk., announced that the company has recently signed a sale and purchase agreement to acquire 30 percent shares in PT Mitratama Perkasa from coal miner PT Bumi Resources Tbk.

?Upon the execution of share sale and purchase agreement, the transfer of ownership of 30 percent stake in Mitratama Perkasa has become effective,? the company said in the statement to the IDX.

The company did not elaborate on the value of the 30 percent stake.

Surabaya-based Sumber Energi's business includes mining, trading, construction, service, industrial and investment sector. Mitratama, a coal mining infrastructure business company based in Jakarta, owns and operate a barge port facility in Kalimantan.
