Tino elected Perhapi new chairman

The Association of Indonesian Mining Professionals (Perhapi) elected Tino Ardhyanto as its new Chairman for a period until 2018 during a congress on Wednesday.
Tino works for IDX-listed PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk, which is engaged in coal transport services. ?We hope to be able to communicate with other parties to help develop the Indonesian mining sector,? he told Petromindo.com in a brief comment, adding that upgrading the competency of its members would one of his programs.
Perhapi last month proposed to the government for revision of the 2009 Mining Law.
