Wavenet completes soil sampling in Selaup Gold project

Australia-based exploration company Wavenet International Limited announced that soil sampling at Selaup Gold project in West Kalimantan has been completed with the discovery of several anomalies that would further be tested by drilling.
In its statement to the ASX, the company said that it had assayed 480 soil samples with gold value ranged from 0.01 ppm to 8.73 ppm Au, for silver from 0.5 ppm to 6.30 ppm Ag, for copper from 5 ppm to 31 ppm Cu, for lead from 5 ppm to 56 ppm Pb and for zinc from 5 ppm to 966 ppm Zn.
?Geochemical result indicates that there are several gold, silver, copper and lead/zinc anomalies on the concession,? the company said.
The Selaup gold project, located immediately north of Rubicon Resources Ltd Kapuas Hulu Joint Venture, has concession area of 6,280 hectares.
The company said that soil sampling program was conducted on a 400 meter by 400 meter grid and a total of 480 samples were assayed at Sucofindo Laboratory in Jakarta.
